TRIVIUM Unveils 'Dead Inside Of Me' – First Track from Eleventh Album

Grammy‑nominated heavyweights TRIVIUM have released the new single "Dead Inside Of Me", marking their first new music and the lead track from the band’s forthcoming eleventh studio album. The song follows 2021's "In The Court Of The Dragon" and more details about the upcoming release will be shared soon.

New Music Details

The track showcases modern thrash riffs, deep guitar‑forward power grooves, battering‑ram rhythms and masterful melodies, with TRIVIUM’s signature solos prominent throughout. An official video for "Dead Inside Of Me", directed by Pavel Trebukhin, is now available.

Paolo Gregoletto explained that "Dead Inside Of Me" began as a riff called "Slam" that he had been developing for five or six years. He blended contrasting ideas—a death‑metal riff rendered as a stadium rock song—and let screaming and singing weave together until they felt like one voice. The concept draws loosely from the Japanese terms honne and tatemae, reflecting the tension between inner truth and the mask presented to the world.

Tour Information

TRIVIUM will hit the road on November 5, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and continue through December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a North American headline run. The tour features IN FLAMES, ORBIT CULTURE, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY and FROZEN SOUL as opening acts.

The band described the fall 2026 tour as "huge," praising the stacked lineup and noting the special presence of IN FLAMES, who influenced their early years and continue to prove they are among the greatest metal bands of all time. They added that ORBIT CULTURE, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY and FROZEN SOUL round out the bill, and they are ready to kick off the next era with Alex Rüdinger behind the kit.

TRIVIUM’s critically acclaimed tenth album "In The Court Of The Dragon" arrived in 2021 and earned praise from The New York Times, NPR, Forbes, Billboard, TechCrunch, Kotaku, Guitar World, Revolver, Alternative Press and many more. Their 2005 release "Ascendancy" was named Kerrang! Album Of The Year, achieved a UK gold certification and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. Metal Hammer placed it in the Top 15 of "The 100 Greatest Metal Albums Of The 21st Century". "Ascendancy" sparked six consecutive Top 25 debuts on the Billboard 200 and five straight Top 3 debuts on the Hard Rock Albums chart, leading to the landmark 2017 album "The Sin And The Sentence", which pushed the group’s total stream tally past a quarter‑of‑a‑billion. The track "Betrayer" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. 2020’s "What The Dead Men Say", co‑produced with Josh Wilbur, debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard Top 200, No. 2 on the Top Current Albums chart and No. 3 on both the Hard Rock Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. TRIVIUM has performed alongside METALLICA, BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN and headlined festivals such as Download, Bloodstock and Knotfest. In fall 2025 they issued the "Struck Dead" EP.
